Walk On Records (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use walkonrecords.com and our free playlist submission service, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you submit a track through our submission form, we may receive:
- Artist or band name
- Song title
- Link to your track (Spotify, YouTube, or similar)
- Your email address
- Optional genre and message
The form opens your email client and sends the details to Info@walkonrecords.com. We do not currently store form data on our own servers. We may also receive basic technical information common to any website (such as browser type or IP address via hosting logs).
How we use your information
- To review tracks for possible inclusion in our free Spotify and YouTube playlists
- To contact you about your submission if needed
- To operate and improve the website
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email for marketing lists unless you separately agree.
Sharing
We may share information only when required by law, or with service providers who help us run the site (for example, email or hosting), under appropriate confidentiality.
Third-party services
Our site embeds content from Spotify and YouTube. Those services have their own privacy policies. Using their players or links is subject to their terms.
Data retention
Emails and submission details we receive may be kept only as long as needed to review submissions and operate the playlist service, or as required by law.
Your choices
You can email us at Info@walkonrecords.com to ask about data related to a submission or to request that we stop using your contact information for playlist correspondence.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
